Vicarage Farm Pre-school opened in January 1985. It was registered under new owners in April 2004 and operates from a large hall in the Gleneagles Estate in Wellingborough. We have access to the hall, laundry room, toilets and enclosed play areas to the front and side of the building, all entrances are ramped for easy access. A maximum of 26 children may attend at any one time, from 2 years to under 5. Ten sessions are offered each week, Monday to Friday, term time only, 8:30am until 11.30am and 11.30am until 2.30pm. You can choose a selection of sessions, or choose a full 6 hours per day (8.30am until 2.30pm).
Currently we have 10 children on roll, the majority of which are funded. We are able to support children with learning difficulties and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language.
We have two dual languages children at present and no children on roll with disabilities. We are supporting children with speech and language issues.
We have 2 permanent members of staff, all hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare. One member has achieved the Early Years Professional Status (teacher status) and a BA Honours in Education. All staff are first aid trained.
We receive support from an early years advisory teacher.
